Defense Logistics Agency (DLA)–Energy // BPCOP
PioneerTech developed BPCOP, a web-based automated application that provides key decision makers with worldwide visibility of the major components of the integrated supply chain supporting the Department of Defense’s (DoD) warfighters and their energy assets. This analytical tool also functions as a stand-alone system within a SharePoint portal allowing users to create dashboards in real-time that can be viewed globally by different users at the same time.
As part of the solution PioneerTech migrated the application servers from physical servers to a milCloud services product portfolio. Our Team worked with DLA Information Operations to identify and design the BPCOP Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET) milCloud hardware and Storage Area Network (SAN) Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). The milCloud Virtual Data Center (VDC) provides direct access to a web-based control panel to manage the configuration of assets such as processors, storage, and networks within the VDC.
We also prepared the BPCOP solution to be mobile-ready so it could be deployed within a private cloud, a private mobile hot spot, or a private wireless network to support Platform as a Service (PaaS). BPCOP mobile supports all major Bring-Your-Own-Devices (BYOD) such as iPad, iPhone, Androids and Microsoft Windows Surface devices. The mobile solution is Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) enabled and tested with Common Access Card (CAC) BYOD.
